There is nothing worse than jumping in the bathtub, turning on the faucet and having a
pitiful, small stream of water coming out. Some of this can be eliminated by installing a high pressure shower head. Let’s explore some options for bathroom fixtures.
One of the first things I fell in love with in college was not a boy or any of my classes. It was the high pressure shower head in my new apartment.
I know some people would laugh if they heard me say that, but I had never had something so wonderful before. It was a very simple shower head, but it had all of the water pressure a girl could want. I have had naturally curly hair my entire life and I have always had a hard time rinsing out the shampoo. This shower head was the answer to my prayers.
Time saver
Imagine having to spend ten extra minutes every day in the shower because you cannot get the shampoo out of your hair. Although I’d have grown use to my hair to the point where I might even say that I love it, taking care of it is a pain.
If I do not have a high pressure shower head I have to spend extra time in the shower just rinsing out the soap and the conditioner. After I started using the high pressure shower head I noticed that I could cut ten minutes off of my showers. For someone who likes to get up at the last minute, this was indeed a dream come true.
College is long behind me, but I still insist on having a high pressure shower head. I work from home and my daughter stays here with me. I have to put a lot of time into my work, and I have to spend time with her. On top of all of that, I have to keep the house clean and take care of my husband.
This does that leave me a lot of time for showering. Thankfully, we have a high pressure shower head in our bathroom. This means that I can get in and out of the shower as quickly as I need to without having to skip washing my hair.
Limited water
There are some apartment buildings and housing complexes that have done major bathroom remodeling and, along with it did away with high pressure water. There are many people who complain that they can no longer find a high pressure shower head in any place that they want to rent.
Though you may be able to sneak one into a rental apartment or house, the only way you can ensure that you are allowed to have a high pressure shower head is to own your own home. Though there are still plenty of places where you can find them in rental units, more and more larger places are taking them out completely. The next time you are looking at rentals, make sure you check out the shower heads before you commit.
After all, it’s your hair and your time. A high pressure shower head is well worth the bit of cost and time to install it. Look around online or shop your local home improvement store for the best deals. Now, let’s hop in that shower with the powerful water supply!
